The first set of seven pc's have been purchased and are ready to use! On the left you see the pc table in our new nursery school / pc-building. The network has been built by a Dutch volunteer: an IT-graduate. Every single computer in the room can print using the network printer (as seen in the picture on the right). And since it's a WiFi-network, every laptop within the range of our network, as well. Unfortunately, our network is not connected to the internet.

No internet (yet)
Our asrama / children's home is situated in the hills of West-Bali The signal of the mobile telephone network is too weak to establish an internet connection. The alternative, a telephone line, is not available yet. The telephone company has to place 20 telephone poles to get to our home. And they will charge us for that... to make things worse: it costs about 10.000 pounds / 16.000 USD to built it. You can understand that we don't have internet at home.
